Back when Schreiner University was Schreiner Institute, it wasn’t unusual for the students to line up and march around campus. Off-campus, however, was a bigger event. Conner Baldwin, alumnus and fellow librarian, told me that marching into town typically denoted a big event, like a funeral or city celebration. This particular photograph shows the students marching on Park Street, although I am not quite sure about the exact intersection.
I am not a car buff, but I would also like to hear from anyone who can identify the car leading the group.
